One of the benefits of magnesiacore 4 art is that each panel is unique... like snowflakes... no two panels are exactly alike.
The surface features of magnesiacore have very fine and subtle, random, yet predictable and consistent differences which adds to the uniqueness of each rendering regardless of medium.
Each panel is naturally different due to the earthen materials and firing processes used and are not made different artificially.
Like when the Masters painted on gesso or "al fresco" that involved hand mixed and troweled on materials on walls that added to their uniqueness; magnesiacore provides a unique experience with each piece of art but in a very smooth uniform and consistet panel board support yet still unique from panel to panel.

An important technique is the ability to sand or scrape the surface of magnesiacore to create novel affects that are not possible with canvas, papers or pressboards. Many interesting details and textures are generated from depressions, to smoth and roughned surfaces and medium used.
